In the past Liliya was a founder and artistic director of the leading contemporary dance
centre "Bye Bye Ballet" (St. Petersburg 2009–2014) and her own dance company, for which she created more than 20 works (2014–2020).
Since 2023: freelance dance artist based in Orleans, France.

In 2003 Liliya graduated from Legat Professional Ballet School in England.
In 2006 she graduated from London Contemporary Dance School at the Place with BA(Hons) degree.

During school years Liliya danced in projects under direction of Merce Cunningham and Trisha Brown after graduation she was invited to join the National Dance Company of Wales "The Diversions".

In 2016 Liliya was granted DanceWeb scholarship at Impulstanz Festival, mentor Tino Sehgal
Liliya was a guest choreographer at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, artistic director maestro Teodor Currentzis (2017-2018)

David performed by Liliya Burdinskaya Dance Company after first show was invited to open two screenings of David Lynch's movies, and was called by the critics "the best introduction to Lynch world"
In 2020 Liliya was invited to Plovdiv Opera and Ballet Theatre to Stage an Opera for children based on the story by Gianni Rodari " The Pieped Piper and the Cars", libretto and music by Petr Kerkelov.
In 2014 Liliya won a Grand Prix as the best choreographer for her work "Forest" at Diana Vishneva's Festival "Context".
From 2015 till 2023 Liliya has created a number of works for Diana Vishneva's Dance Festival, the highlight will be her choreography of the medieval part in the award winning dance film "Slepok" to the music of composer Alexei Retinskiy.

In 2021 Liliya started to work with Austrian theatre director Jacqueline Kornmuller and performed in her

In 2020 Liliya created a dance solo for Human Signs project by Yuval Avital. Later that year it became part of the European Nomadic Bienial Manifesta'13 in Marseille, France.
She was invited as a teacher of the faculties of modern choreography at the St.-Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory and the Institute of Film and Television on the basis of the Part Academy (St. Petersburg);
Liliya is a mentor of unique creative educational programs SoloDoma and MONA where she teaches tobecome a movement poet and to create a full evening solo work.
